I was considering including this in a larger mod I am currently working on but. Description The equites extraordinarii were drawn from amongst the Socii, allied non-citizens who provided most of the early Republics cavalry. The main intent is to allow the Socii(and Italians which are pretty much Socii) to have a little bit of a charge advantage over the Romans, since the Romans are better in just about everything else and tend to have low charge bonuses. this mod uh.kind of helps with that(lol). It is generally accepted that most of these units are weak compared to their costs so. These changes are purely cosmetic and won't affect gameplay in any way. As there were typically two or three times the number of Socii than Roman cavalry, a consular army of two Legions could have some 1,800 Socii cavalry, of which at least 600 would be considered part of the elite equites extraordinarii.
